Askar Akayevich Akayev: Askar Akayevich Akayev (Аскар Акаевич Акаев) o Askar Akáiev, nacido el 10 de noviembre de 1944 en Kyzyl-Bairak, República Socialista Federativa Soviética de Kirguistán, es el anterior presidente de la República de Kirguistán. Sirvió como presidente desde la declaración de independencia tras la desintegración de la Unión Soviética. Es el quinto hijo de una familia de granjeros granjeros y está casado con Mairam Akayeva, con la cual tiene cuatro hijos.
